Our purpose is to establish and operate the activities of a social, recreational and travel club for its youth and adult members, and such other persons as the Corporation may determine from time to time.
Monthly membership fees cover the cost of their activities. Membership entitles each young person to choose the type of activity in which they wish to participate. All mentors and administrators work on a volunteer basis to maximize the benefit to the members.
We foster a culture of ethical responsibility among young people in a healthy environment, while offering participants activities in their interest area.
The goal is for young people, especially between the ages of 13 and 19, to provide a choice of interesting activities during both summer and winter seasons.
We want our young people to experience how worthwhile it is to give something to others as they grow up. Youth mentors and other adults are responsible to arrange activities and make them a positive experience. They care for younger members in small groups, so that everyone feels noticed and included.
Youth should experience love and attention and be given room to develop their own personalities. We must teach the next generation of adults about care, respect, equality, and how to prevent exclusion and misconduct of any kind.
Good experiences should also ensure that the young people look back on their youth time fondly, regardless of the choices they make later in life.
